In Case You Missed your cat

I was reading the book Millions of Cats to my kids the other day, and while it can hardly be recommended as promoting good cat care, I did find it easy to relate to the Very Old Man in the story.

In the story, the man sets out to look for a cat so that he and his wife won’t be lonely anymore. He reaches a hill where he finds “hundreds of cats, thousands of cats, millions and billions and trillions of cats,” and tries to choose just one cat. The problem is, they are all very pretty and he ends up taking them all and walking back home with trillions of cats.

Sounds familiar? Ok, so not trillions of cats, but I’m sure you know how difficult it is to keep it down to just one cat.

If you’re considering adding another feline member to your family, I urge you to read this month’s addition to our cat care articles: The Other Cat. It guides you through the various considerations that will, hopefully, help you find the ideal partner for your resident feline.
